COMPANY.md generator

Turn any website into a plain-markdown brand brief that a person can read and a model can follow. Only facts found on the pages; everything else is marked as not stated.

Reads the homepage and up to six other public pages. First runs may take a few minutes. Full-URL results are cached for up to 24 hours; requests are rate limited.

What it is
COMPANY.md is a short markdown file that describes a company the way a careful new hire would after a day of reading: what is sold, to whom, why it is chosen over alternatives, and how it positions itself.
Why you want one
Every prompt you write about your business repeats the same context. Put it in one file, paste it once, and every model output starts from the same facts. It is also the input our writing pipeline uses.
How it is made
We fetch the homepage, up to five linked pages and the sitemap, strip them to text, and ask the model to write only what the text supports. A second pass deletes any sentence that cannot be pointed to on a page.

Common questions

Does it work on any site?

Any public site that serves HTML. Sites behind a login, or ones that render everything with client-side JavaScript and nothing in the initial HTML, will produce a thin file.

Is the output stored?

Yes, cached per domain so the second request is instant and free. Nothing else about you is stored; you do not need an account.

Can I edit it?

It is markdown. Copy it, change what is wrong, keep it next to your other docs. If you sign up, the same file becomes the brief for every article.

How is this different from llms.txt?

llms.txt is an index of links for crawlers to follow. COMPANY.md is prose about the business for a model to reason with. Most sites benefit from both.

How many times can I run it?

Up to three requests per hour per trusted client address, plus a shared daily generation limit. Results for a full URL are cached for up to 24 hours.
