Invisible character cleaner
Text copied from AI chat windows can carry invisible characters: zero-width spaces, joiners, direction marks, non-breaking spaces. This strips them. Nothing leaves your browser.
Zero-width space, non-joiner and joiner, word joiner, byte-order mark, soft hyphen, Mongolian vowel separator, invisible operators, bidirectional marks and isolates, and Hangul filler characters. Non-breaking spaces become ordinary spaces.
Invisible characters survive copy and paste, break search-and-replace, confuse spell checkers and can trip detectors that look for them. If you are editing model output before publishing, start clean.
Removing joiners or direction marks can change how some languages, emoji and code display. Review the output. Invisible characters are not evidence of an AI watermark.
Common questions
Is my text uploaded anywhere?
No. The cleaning is a small function that runs in your browser. There is no request to our server.
Does it work for text from other AI tools?
Yes. The characters it removes are the same regardless of which tool produced them, and the same regardless of whether a tool produced them on purpose.
Will it break code or markdown?
It can change characters with meaningful effects in code, emoji and some languages. Keep your original and review the cleaned result.
Why does it say zero removed?
Because there was nothing invisible in the text. Many outputs are clean; the counter tells you which.
Can I run it on a whole file?
Paste the file contents. There is no size limit beyond what your browser is comfortable with in a text area.
